Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of BoostRevision at boostrevision.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use BoostRevision.

1. The service

BoostRevision generates AI-based A-Level practice questions, mark schemes and worked solutions. Questions and solutions are generated by AI and, while we work hard to keep them accurate, they may occasionally contain errors. BoostRevision is a revision aid and is not a substitute for your official specification, exam board materials, or teacher.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate details and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. You must be old enough to use the service under our privacy policy.

3. Free and Basic plans

The Free plan lets you generate up to 5 questions per day. The Basic plan (£4.99/month) gives unlimited daily questions and is billed monthly through Stripe.

3-day free trial: new Basic subscriptions start with a 3-day free trial. We collect your card at sign-up but do not charge you during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing. If you don't cancel, your card is charged £4.99 when the trial ends and then monthly until you cancel.

4. Billing, cancellation & refunds

You can cancel any time from your profile page or the Stripe billing portal. When you cancel, you keep Basic access until the end of the current billing period, after which your account returns to the Free plan.

No refunds: except where required by law, subscription payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods or unused time. To avoid being charged for a period you don't want, cancel before it begins — for the trial, cancel before the 3 days are up.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attempting to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer it, no reselling access, and no using it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

6. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your profile page, which permanently removes your data and cancels any active subscription. You can also request deletion by emailing support@boostrevision.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

7. Intellectual property

The BoostRevision name, site, and software are ours. Questions generated for you are provided for your personal revision use.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for exam outcomes or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above; continued use means you accept the updated terms.
